Davidson cracked the AP Top 25 for the first time since the 1969-1970 season this week after beating conference rivals Appalachian State and Georgia Southern to finish a perfect 20-0 in the Southern Conference. The Wildcats were ranked 25th for one week in the USA Today Coaches Poll before losing to Western Michigan back in November. The Wildcats are ranked 25th again with 74 votes after being 28th last week with 40 votes.
Davidson will put their national ranking to the test on Saturday when they face off against either Western Carolina or Wofford in the SoCon quarterfinals.
